Dr. ross Community Engagement Talk – Save the Date

Community Engagement Talk
On the 17th of November from 6 to 7:30PM, scholar and assistant professor kihana miraya ross (See her website here: https://afam.northwestern.edu/people/faculty/kihana-miraya-ross.html) from Northwestern University in Chicago will discuss her work with us on anti-blackness and schooling.  This event is sponsored by the Black Studies and Psychology Departments at Portland State University (PSU) in collaboration with the Coalition of Black Men (COBM) and the Oregon Alliance of Black School Educators (ORABSE).  Please put this event on your calendars. We especially invite educators who are interested in and teaching Black youth in the Portland Greater Metro Area.  We will be sending out more information approximately two week prior to the event.
