Study Group Session 1 – Preparation for Dr. ross’ Community Engagement Talk
In preparation of Dr. ross’ talk on Nov. 17th, we would like to offer to community members, especially those invested in the education of Black youth, participation in a study group.  For this study group, we will meet two times prior to Dr. ross’ talk: once on Wednesday October 13^th from 6 to 7:30 and again on November 10^th, from 6 to 7:30. At these study groups, we will discuss two articles and/or chapters Dr. ross has written, which will be provided two weeks prior to the study group date.  The study group will be facilitated by Dr. Ethan Johnson, Professor and Chair of the Black Studies Department at Portland State University.
