Mr. Roy Jay, emcee

Dear Sir or Madame:

On September 28, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the Portland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Sorority, Inc. will host a Black and White Ball to celebrate our chapter’s local accomplishments during this Centennial anniversary of our Sorority, celebrate our community work, honor local “hall of famers” who have contributed to change within the city of Portland and the state of Oregon, and to meet our revenue goal of $75,000 which would significantly assist in carrying out our chapter vision.

The Portland Alumnae Chapter is proud to be the first local African American organization renovating a Brownfield site using the “Living Building Challenge” criteria which is the highest level of sustainable building.    The June Key Delta Community Center is located in the historic Piedmont Neighborhood across the street from Peninsula Park one the oldest public parks in the City.

Since 1945, Portland Alumnae Chapter has maintained the collective strength of sisterhood modeled by our Founders, providing service and support to the underserved and needy.  Our service efforts are guided by the sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.  As a chapter, we believe that our commitment to the construction of a brownfield has made us part of a growing national movement to venture outside the box to form partnerships to revitalize a community.   Our vision is to manage and maintain a viable living green space-the June Key Delta Community Center-to serve as a beacon of sustainability for other non-profits to follow and continued programming related to our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.

We cordially invite your company or organization to not only attend our event but partner with us through sponsorship. Depending on the level of your sponsorship, we offer the following:
Green Level – $1000: Link on chapter website for one year, listed as a sponsor on program materials, VIP seating at the event, ten free tickets
Red Level – $500: VIP seating, two complimentary tickets, business logo on chapter website for 5 months, listed as a sponsor on program materials
Silver Level – $250: Listed as a sponsor on program materials
